Contraindications

Please ask your clients to have the following conditions medically treated or corrected before the treatment:

Pterygium
Age spots
Birthmark in the treatment area
Very deep wrinkles in the treatment area

The following conditions must be fully resolved before treatment; otherwise, the pigmentation procedure must not be performed:

Herpes
Barleycorn
Eye inflammation
Papel
Pustule
Sunburn in the treatment area
Bruises and bruises in the treatment area
Fresh surgical scars
Abrasions in the treatment area
Bacterial infection in the treatment area
Wound infection in the treatment area
Inflamed pimple

The following abnormalities require confirmation and approval by the attending physician:

Rosacea
Xanthelasma
Couperose
Muscle dysfunction
Naevus
Birthmark (raised or dark-colored)
Scars
Blood sponge
Boils
Neurodermatitis
Fibroma
Epidermal cyst
Facial rose
Psoriasis
Ichthyosis
All undiagnosed or identifiable skin changes

Anomalies

Depending on age and skin type, healthy skin is firm, plump, well supplied with blood and elastic. Environmental influences, dietary habits and medication are also responsible for the appearance of the skin.

Before treatment, it is important to check whether the skin area to be pigmented is healthy. As an artist, you should be able to recognize abnormalities and changes in the skin in order to decide whether pigmentation is possible or not. As soon as there is any doubt, a specialist must be consulted. The artist must not make a diagnosis.

There are conditions and circumstances that do not allow pigmentation. A distinction is made:

Temporary contraindication – Treatment should be postponed until this condition resolves

acute herpes
Immunodeficiency
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Plastic surgery procedures
local infection
fresh scars
Bruising
Sunburn
Dermatitis
Infection caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses

Other temporary contraindications for cosmetic treatments

Eyelid lift (surgical procedure): Minimum waiting period of 3–6 months.
The attending physician's opinion must be obtained.
Botox: Waiting period approx. 4 weeks
Lip Filler: Waiting period: 4–6 weeks
Thread lift: Waiting period 8–12 weeks
The attending physician's opinion must be obtained.

Absolute contraindication – Treatment is not possible

Skin abnormalities in the treatment zone
Tumors
Keloids
Melanomas
Tumors

Medical restriction

The opinion of the attending physician must be obtained from:

Diabetes
Hemophilia
Extremely high blood pressure
Skin changes that are not diagnosed
other chronic diseases
